Tickets for the Royal Pavilion Ice Rink

Tickets can be bought on the door for skating sessions on the day or in advance. There’s no entry charge to spectate or visit the bar and restaurant. Skaters should aim to arrive 20 minutes before their chosen session. Customers arriving late will be allowed on the ice but may not have their full hour of skating. Tickets are only valid for the date and session time booked, and are strictly non transferrable or refundable.
Bar and Restaurant
The rinkside bar and restaurant is open to skaters and non-skaters, serving delicious food and drink including children’s menus, open from 9.45am until late. It is free to spectate.
The ice rink has its own toilets – including a disabled toilet and baby change facilities.
The ice rink has its own bicycle parking.
Strictly no bags are permitted on the ice.
Lockers are available at a cost of £1 (non-refundable).
Skate Boot sizes
The smallest skate boot is shoe size European 25 (age approx 3 to 4 years old). The largest skate boot is shoe size UK15 / European 49 Long coats, skirts and scarves should not be worn for visitor’s own safety. Please bear in mind, tickets are non refundable – if it’s raining, you will get wet! Once a ticket has been sold, the quota for that session is reduced – refunds will not be payable if visitors decide to cut short their session.
Children and families
Children and families are given a warm welcome at the Royal Pavilion Ice Rink. The smallest skate boot size available for children is 25 (age approx 3-4 years old), however a limited number of dual blades (‘bob skates’) are available for younger skaters. These are issued on a first come, first served basis. Parents must judge whether their children can skate safely. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18 or over) to the venue. Children under 8 must have an adult (aged 18 or over) with them on the ice.
Please note: Booking of specific sessions for season ticket holders in advance must be done via TM Groups Department or on-site Box Office. To skate, customers must show paper copy of their season ticket (or email confirmation) plus ID at on-site Box Office. Season tickets may not be used in combination with any other discount or concession. Club Rinkidinks (daily except 21/12/16 - 31/12/16 inclusive, first session of the day, 10am to 11am) - Children under 5 years of age skate for free when accompanied by an adult paying full price for their session.
Terms and conditions: Only 1 child under 5 may skate for free per paying adult. Tickets for any additional children will be charged at the standard rate for that session.
The ice rink is obliged to limit the number of penguin skate aids on the ice and they are only available to small children 1.2m tall or less. Skate aids are available on a first come, first served basis so customers are advised to arrive early if they require a skate aid.
Cash, cheques and all major credit cards are accepted. Diners Club and American Express are not accepted. Tickets may be collected on the day from the pre-paid window at the ticket office. Visitors should bring the card they used to make the booking, as the card-holder may be required to sign for tickets and the Ticketmaster reference number.
Skaters bringing own skates eligible for 50% off, from box office only, available on presentation of skates.
The Royal Pavilion Ice Rink is fully accessible to wheelchair users. All exits and entrances are ramped, viewing areas and cafe are accessible and a disabled toilet is available. Wheelchair users wishing to skate are welcome and may book in advance, Mon - Thurs sessions 7th Nov - 9th Dec and 2nd Jan – 13th Jan, when the rink is quieter. Groups of 5 wheelchair users or more are asked to book their sessions off-peak only. Please note that wheelchair users must be accompanied on the ice by a competent skater who may skate for free. Marshals will be on-hand if necessary. Electric wheelchairs are permitted but should be switched to manual setting whilst on the ice.
